INTERPOM 2026, Europe's leading indoor potato trade fair, runs 29 November to 1 December at Kortrijk Xpo, Belgium, marking its 23rd edition under the theme "Growing resilience in a changing world." The 35,000-square-meter exhibition floor, hosting 332 exhibitors from 15 countries, has been completely sold out since the end of August. The previous edition drew a record 24,000 visitors from 60 countries. Each of the three fair days will pair a keynote with a panel on a resilience theme: supply on 29 November, water management on 30 November, and factory operations on 1 December, with speakers from business, academia, research and politics. Belgapom CEO Christophe Vermeulen will moderate the seminar sessions. The full programme is due via the INTERPOM website in mid-October. Online registration is open; tickets cost EUR15 per person per day, or EUR7.50 with a valid discount code.

On November 29, 30, and December 1, 2026, the international potato industry will gather at Kortrijk Xpo for INTERPOM, Europe’s leading indoor trade fair for the entire potato supply chain. This year marks the 23rd edition of the event. It will bring together 332 exhibitors from 15 countries across a massive 35,000 square meters of completely sold-out indoor exhibition space.

Record Interest and Sold-Out Exhibition Floor The previous edition of INTERPOM attracted a record 24,000 visitors. The event continues to confirm its strong international appeal, with attendees representing 60 different countries. This strong interest is continuing in 2026, as the 35,000-square-meter exhibition floor has been completely sold out since the end of August. As Europe’s most specialised indoor trade fair for the sector, INTERPOM offers a unique and comprehensive overview of machinery, products, services, and digital technologies for the entire potato supply chain.

2026 Theme: Growing Resilience in a Changing World The potato sector operates in a rapidly changing world, facing challenges such as climate change, growing pressure on water and other resources, geopolitical uncertainty, increasingly stringent regulation, and rising energy costs. Therefore, the theme for INTERPOM 2026 is ‘Growing resilience in a changing world’. Through technology, practical solutions, and innovations—including the Innovation Tour—the event will showcase how growers and buyers can remain competitive and sustainable in the years ahead.

Seminar Programme: The Potato of Tomorrow Each of the three days of the trade fair will focus on a different aspect of resilience. An inspiring keynote in the morning will be followed by a panel discussion in the afternoon, bringing together experts from business, academia, civil society, research, and politics:

Sunday 29 November — Resilience of Supply: Potato of the Future: Experts will discuss how to ensure that the potato of the future remains climate-resilient and economically viable, while continuing to meet the expectations of the processing industry and consumers.
Monday 30 November — Resilience of Water: Water Management of the Future: A discussion on how to continue growing high-quality potatoes in the future while reducing the impact on increasingly scarce water resources.
Tuesday 1 December — Resilience of Operations: Factory of the Future: A panel focused on how potato processors can remain competitive in a context of changing regulation, rising costs, geopolitical uncertainty, and rapid technological developments.
