Potato Expo 2027 Opens Registration: Denver to Host North America’s Largest Potato Show on 5–7 January

The National Potato Council has opened registration for Potato Expo 2027, which it calls the largest annual potato conference and trade show in North America. The event runs on 5–7 January 2027 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Denver, the same venue as in 2023. Registration opened on 15 September. Evocati Public Relations, NPC's on-site communications agency for a fifth year, says more than 80% of booths are already sold and the Expo Hall will be 25% larger than in 2023, nearly 25,000 extra square feet. NPC has not published these figures itself, so they rest on the agency alone. The Potato Association of America invites members to submit research posters by 15 October; selected presenters get a 50% registration discount. Affiliate meetings held during the week are separate events and are not covered by Expo registration.
The National Potato Council (NPC) has opened registration for Potato Expo 2027. The event will take place on 5–7 January 2027 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. NPC describes Potato Expo as the largest annual potato industry conference and trade show in North America. Registration opened on 15 September 2026, according to Potato Country.
Evocati Public Relations, which provides on-site communications for NPC at the expo for the fifth year, announced the opening on LinkedIn. According to the agency:
- more than 80% of booths are already sold;
- the Expo Hall will be 25% larger than at Potato Expo 2023 in Denver, adding nearly 25,000 square feet of space.
NPC has not published booth or hall figures on its own website, so these numbers come from the agency only.

A call to researchers
The Potato Association of America (PAA) is inviting its members to submit research posters for Potato Expo 2027. Submissions close on 15 October 2026. Selected presenters will receive a 50% discount on registration, PAA said.
NPC’s schedule page notes that affiliate meetings held during the week are separate events and are not included in Expo registration. Visitors planning several meetings in Denver should budget for them separately.
Context
Potato Expo brings together growers, suppliers, researchers and industry leaders from the United States and abroad. According to the agency, the programme mixes policy discussions, sustainability topics, production technology and supply-chain sessions with a trade show. The 2027 edition returns to the same Denver venue that hosted the event in 2023.

Early January is when North American growers lock in seed, equipment and service decisions for the new season. For suppliers from outside the US, including European and Eurasian machinery and seed companies, Potato Expo is the shortest route to that audience. If the agency’s figures are right, most exhibition space is already gone. Companies still considering a booth have weeks, not months, to decide. Researchers have a firmer date: the PAA poster deadline is 15 October.
